Sturdy Construction

The cabinet is constructed with a sturdy 18-gauge thick steel double-wall, with 1.5 in of insulating air space for fire resistance. The fully welded, not riveted, construction holds the squareness of the unit for a longer life and offers greater protection in a fire since air gaps are reduced.

High-Performance Door

The high-performance, manual-close, self-latching door with a right hinge closure can open to a full 180 degrees and close securely for maximum protection under fire conditions when pushed shut.

Added Security

The cabinet features an innovative U-Loc handle that does not require manual rotation to engage the mandatory latch, and includes a cylinder lock and key set, or you can choose to use your own padlock.

Haz-Alert Reflective Warning Labels

Haz-Alert reflective warning labels that read “FLAMMABLE – KEEP FIRE AWAY” are highly visible under fire conditions or during power outages when illuminated with a flashlight.

Customizable Shelves

The patented, galvanized steel SpillSlope shelf is designed to direct spills to the back and bottom into a leak-tested sump, and is adjustable on 3-in centers to meet ANSI MH28.1 standards with a 350-lb safe allowable load.

Back Wall Vents and Grounding Connector

The cabinet features back wall vents with built-in flame arresters and a grounding connector to electrically bond directly to the chemical fume hood, providing an additional layer of safety.
