Ergonomic Design and Construction

The light neutral cabinet can store 15 gal (57 L) of flammable liquids and fits under chemical fume hoods, benches, and counters. It features an ergonomic design with a 4-in high by 3-in deep (102-mm high by 77-mm deep) toe kick, which makes it easier for chemical handlers to maintain an appropriate distance. Its exterior dimensions are 35.75 in H x 24 in W x 21.625 in D (908 mm H x 610 mm W x 549 mm D); its 35.75-in (908-mm) height includes leg levelers installed and extended 5/8-in (15.9-mm).

Safety Features

This model is constructed with a sturdy 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel double-wall, with 1.5 in (38 mm) of insulating air space for fire resistance. The fully welded, not riveted, construction holds the squareness of the unit for a longer life and offers greater protection in a fire since air gaps are reduced.

Self-Closing Door and Shelf

The high-performance, self-closing door with a left hinge closure can open to 140 degrees. A patented, concealed self-close mechanism provides obstruction-free access to shelf space. Continuous piano hinges ensure the door closes smoothly every time. The cabinet also features one patented, galvanized steel SpillSlope shelf designed to direct spills to the back and bottom into a 2-in (51-mm) leak-tested sump that meets EPA requirements.
